Our company goal is to maximize the value provided to companies, shareholders and customers by quickly and accurately processing information in order to make business decisions. In June 1999, we implemented an operating officer system clearly outlining work responsibilities, and to further speed up the decision making process, we have delegated one external director to represent the ideas put forward in the directors' meetings, maintaining anonymity of directors' meetings. Three corporate auditors are delegated to oversee operations and ensure that the external director fulfills work responsibilities. We continue to look for new ways to improve corporate governance and to attain business transparency.

Other policies for corporate governance

Under our unification system, in addition to regular monthly directors' meetings, we exchange information as necessary to conduct efficient business affairs and monitoring. We also conduct checks between each institution and administrative division and work to unify the company by performing internal audits on a regular basis.

We also hold a management strategy conference with operation officers and directors from each institution so we can monitor business administration and oversee business affairs. Moreover, we hold an investigation committee involving auditors, accounting auditors and the accounting department to exchange information and improve corporate governance.

In addition, we employ lawyers and certified accountants and receive advice from them. We work to make improvements upon receiving feedback from audit agencies regarding problems that are discovered during audit.
